Staci is a native of Kansas City. She started dancing (tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatics, and musical theater) at the age of 2 and was already teaching others by the age of 13 through a Teachers’ Training Program. She was part of the Kansas City Dance Theatre Company which performed 2 full-length musical-dance productions a year. KCDTC and DMA rewarded her with scholarships that took Staci to NY, LA, Chicago and various other locations across the country. Staci has studied with and been influenced by such teachers as Germaine Salsberg, Sue Samuels, Charles Kelley, Frank Hatchett, Gus Giordano, Pattie Obey, Roni Mahler, Susan Quinn-Williams, Crystal Chapman, and Finis Jhung among others.
Upon graduating from Sumner Academy of Arts & Science (KC), Staci immediately left to perform in a Regional production of “42nd Street” choreographed by Germaine Salsberg. Subsequently, she landed in one of the casts of “Sesame Street Live!” where she toured Internationally & performed on “The Today Show” with them before landing in Chicago.
While in Chicago, Staci choreographed for various dance studios and musicals for High Schools and Theatre Companies and adjudicated for competitions. After moving to NYC in 2015, she continued to teach, adjudicate and choreograph in addition to traveling and teaching around the country on #SummerTapTour. Staci served as the Company Manager for and performed with with #Taplife Company while also serving as both the Vice President and Treasurer for non-profit, Taplife Hero Foundation while residing in NYC. After relocating to her hometown of KC, Staci continues her passion for dance and theatre. She is also a Flexologist at Stretch LAB which allows her to lean into her interests of helping people feel their best at all times.
Staci is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a keen interest in biomechanics, kinesiology, and anatomy as well as co-author of “Food As A Prescription: A Handbook For Those Currently On Or Prescribed a Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free and/or Dairy-Free Diet”. It is a handbook with tips & tricks, anecdotes, and guidance for anyone who has to deal with food/environmental allergies and their caregivers to utilize so they can tap into their healthiest lives.
